Great Fun/ Frayed Nerves

I'm going way back into the archives. This is the

winning car from the Hardeeville Race track. Don won the Championship in 2002. This car has been all over Georgia & Jacksonville. The car sits on the trailer back towards the woods. I guess you would say from glory to pitiful now. We had some great times racing. I sometime look at it and think how sad it is just sitting there. Then I think about how nervous I used to be. I'm not sure if it will ever come out of retirement again,

but you never know.

Bateaux Chefs

Bateaux's was featured in the Lowcountry Magazine just recently. The photographer came one morning and took pictures. The first picture is AAron the Executive Chef. The scallops in the picture below Miles cooked. AAron did the tuna.

Blooming Camellias

My Camellias are blooming. They are so pretty.

I pick them every chance I get & put them in the house. I also have the white ones. Sometime I think nature gets confused with the weather we have. Alot of my flowers are having a rebirth.

My Mandevilla has alot of buds on it.

It's That Time

It's that time again. It makes me sad to cover up the pool. The only good thing is I don't have to clean it although it was relaxing in a strange way to clean the pool. So we are closed until the end of April 2008.

Fall Flowers

Saturday was a beautiful day. I decided to clean the pool to get ready for closing it up. I was looking at all the flowers that were blooming.

My gardenias are blooming. I love the smell of them. It brings back memories of my childhood.

My Mama had a lot of Gardenia bushes. I would just smell & smell them such a sweet fragrance.

Look at the blue sky in the background. It looks like the tropics. I was trying to catch a little yellow butterfly on the purple flowers. I think I got him on another picture that I didn't blog.
