Cotton Hall Plantation

Sheila you wanted to see the bricks in black & white so this is for you. The black & white picture is before the gate was painted white. I like the moss & ferns on top of the column.

Rylie Dean

My nephew Jeremy and his wife Jennifer & daughter Rylie have moved back South. They were in Pennslyvania for a year. Jeremy had to work at Federal prison in order to become a Federal Probation Officer. He has a job in Valdosda GA. Ann is so happy now they are only 3 hrs away instead of 12. So I spent my afternoon in Varnville visiting them. So I decided to blog Rylie she is so cute!! She will be 18 months on Tuesday.

Entrance gate detail

This is the entrance gate into Cotton Hall and a brick column. The column has moss growing on it. I thought it was interesting. Amy I hope it's correct for the challenge.

Home Sweet Home

I was just going around the yard taking pictures of the scenery.
Then I decided I would just do a blog of home sweet home today.

MARSH VIEW

This is in the back yard at my house overlooking
the marsh. The tree caught my eye with moss hanging on it. This view is for you Jamie.
Thoughts of home. Lowcountry beauty! The best in the world. We all think it is!

MEMORIES FROM THE PAST

I guess seeing all the pictures about kids lately on the blog has made me think about past times. Yesterday was kind of a dreary day. These are some of my fond memories. I thank God so much for sending me Miles
he has been such a blessing! God is so good! The little boy has become a wonderful man.
